How do Chat Missions work?
Each Chat Mission covers exciting and practical scenarios you’re likely to encounter in real life, from the farmers market to the office. It provides engaging conversation practice in a safe and supportive environment that helps you gain confidence in a new language.
Every mission starts with a summary and three specific goals for you to achieve throughout the conversation with a virtual partner. How you achieve those goals is up to you! For example, if your mission is ordering a coffee, your objectives can be: order a small latte, ask about non-dairy milk options, and ask where the restroom is. You can express yourself any way you like, and your conversation partner will adapt to your style and linguistic abilities. The objectives of each mission change every time, so you have endless ways to practice!
Chat Missions are available for all skill levels, with a selection of beginner topics made just for those starting out. The entire conversation is in your target language, so you’ll benefit from Rosetta Stone’s proven Dynamic Immersion method in every chat.
- Your virtual partner will start the conversation, and all you have to do is respond to the best of your ability and in your own way.
